The Peace Creeps is the current musical project featuring Bush. Bush and his A’s were the darlings of Philly in the ’70s and early 80s and had the hits “After Last Night” and “A Woman’s Got the Power,” which was later recorded by both Clarence Clemons and Jennifer Holliday. They released two albums on Arista Records and toured nationally, but they disbanded due to disputes with their record company. After that Bush had a few other bands and then took a long hiatus to write and record. Finally, along with guitarist John Marchiano, bassist Roy Fisher and drummer Jeff Pancoast, The Peace Creeps were born. Bush and songwriting partner AJay McLaughlin’s clever lyricism, along with their Elvis Costello-like wit, Faces-like looseness and the pop sensibilities of the Beatles are reasons for their appeal. Their second album, the backward looking/forward sounding, “Time Machine” is available at CD Baby.

Rogers and Butler
Edward Rogers and Steve Butler (Smash Palace, David Uosikkinen’s In the Pocket) have teamed up to record their debut EP “Diana Dors.” Join us at The Living Room to celebrate the release.
Zip Records announces the release of the debut CD from Rogers & Butler. The new EP “Diana Dors” features Edward Rogers on lead vocals and Steve Butler on lead vocals, guitar and organ. All the songs on “Diana Dors” were co-written by Rogers & Butler. The EP also features Sal Maida (Roxy Music, Sparks) on bass guitar, Dennis Diken (The Smithereens) on drums and the EP’s producer, Don Piper (Syd Straw), on guitar and backing vocals.
Rogers and Butler first met and bonded over a mutual love and respect for British singer-songwriter Duncan Browne. Their friendship turned into a songwriting partnership, resulting in the duo’s debut EP, “Diana Dors.”
Edward Rogers is a British-born, New York City-based singer/songwriter and DJ with seven solo albums and has been compared to Ray Davies and Kevin Ayers in his singing and songwriting style. Rogers has toured in the US, Europe and the UK on several occasions. He has been invited to open for artists such as The Zombies, Dave Davies (The Kinks), Colin Blunstone (The Zombies), Ian Hunter and Terry Reid and has also performed many solo shows. Most recently, he was on a US tour with Marty Willson-Piper (The Church, All About Eve, The Saints).
Steve Butler is an American singer, guitarist and songwriter. His career started in New York City after being discovered by Hilly Kristal, owner of CBGBs, who managed Butler and his band Quincy. They were signed to Columbia Records by Paul Atkinson (former guitarist with the Zombies). When Quincy broke up, Butler, with his new band Smash Palace, inked a deal with Epic Records. Smash Palace has recorded 12 records and has toured extensively over the years in the USA, Canada and the UK. Butler has opened for and toured with INXS, The Records, The Yachts, The Moody Blues, Peter Frampton, Van Morrison and numerous other acts during his career.
